Apparently I didn't die in Vegas, I'm just too lazy to update. If you're at least half a geek, and you sort of know about this whole star trek thing, then I demand you make your way to the Las Vegas Hilton and do Star Trek: The Experience. It's the Best Thing Ever. Be sure to hang out at Quark's Bar, even if you don't drink. It's a blast.
In other news, there is no other news. City of Heroes is a neat MMORPG, from the 3 days of beta I played. I purchased the pre-order, but too late to enjoy the pre-order head start. So it's not REALLY a pre-order, I suppose. In any event, I might mention bits of it here if anyone is interested. Or if not. I don't care what YOU think, so ha!
As far as MMORPGs go, I've pretty much played the whole lot of 'em. I've never been able to find one that can hold my interest for any length of time. I don't much mind the monthly fees, it's usually less than crappy porn sites, uhh, so I've heard, but I do mind having to pay $50 for the media. Even with a free month. It just somehow seems odd to me to have to pay that much for the media when they really aren't selling what's on they cd... They're selling what I'm paying monthly for. I think having to buy the media is what turns off a lot of potential customers, because they feel they are paying for something they've already bought. More MMORPGs should allow online downloads IMHO.
I guess I've spewed enough nonsense that nobody will read for now. Also, this comic is the best. THE BEST! HA HA!
